TTM - Thank heaven, :-) he didn't look like a god when I saw him; swilling booze out of a bottle on stage, back in the '70's. He looked refreshingly human. I like my heroes either out of this world or strictly of it. I treat all deification with suspicion. Elvis can be "The King" and Aretha "The Queen" but I draw the line at god or sainthood.
