Ten Thousand Motels This Nellcotte character is absolutely right.
January 12th, 2005 09:48 PM
Nellcote Oh Rooster.....
You are letting your emotions rule your mind....
Tom Brady is the best 2 minute QB in football today.
The winning percentages between Brady & Manning do
not lie, Brady is 5-0 in playoffs. Manning will not enjoy the home of the 20 straight home winning Patriots, as the field has been left uncovered all week. A wonderful stew of New England mid January tundra, alternatively thawing & freezing, between snow & 60 degrees. Just the conditions Manning does not have a winning record on.
Oh, I know, you do not like history.
That's right, when did the J E T S last win it all?
FYI, 36 years ago today...
Ask Broadway Joe, or better yet, ask Suzy Kober, only she can understand what Joe is saying these days...
"Suzy, I wanna kiss you" was won of the more memorable TV highlights of the 2003 Super Bowl Champion Patriots...

Seeing that your posts regarding your Patsies keep getting longer and MORE FRANTIC as game time approaches, only amplifies the TERROR that you feel and the DOUBTS that you harbor knowing that it's all over this year, the 'run' of 2/4 Super Bowls isn't that great!
That paultry win in the SB last year, what?? a couple of points???

Janet's 'points' were far more interesting!

And it's oooooooover! in 2005!
DYNASTY????
C'mon!

JB is RIGHT!!
17-0 a complete UNDEFEATED season still stands UNMATCHED!!!

The Jets!!
TODAY?? SBIII Champs!!! YEAH!!
I'll raise my glass to THE historic event that brought parity to the AFL!!
Thanks JOE!!

The meaningless 'rollover' undefeated records PALE in comparison! Just something for the bean counters to keep track of!

REMEMBER 'DA BEARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

GO COLTS!!! (weather permitting)

It is a shame THAT will be the reason the 'sies' advance!

The Year Of The ROOOOOSTAH!!!!!

Nellcote So, you are a weatherman now?
Only lay odds if it's nice out?
Did you buy Payrod's pocketbook too when he bitch slapped Cornroyo in the "Worst Choke In Sports History ALCS?

Here's a stat for you, btw, I do not see the J E T S here
on this list.......

Record against quality opponents (regular season and playoffs)
2003-04 Patriots..........17-1 (.944)
1972-73 Dolphins.......13-1 (.928)
1982-83 Redskins......15-2 (.882)*
1989-90 49ers.............15-3 (.833)
1992-93 Cowboys.......14-4 (.778)
1978-79 Steelers.........17-5 (.773)
1997-98 Broncos.........12-4 (.750)
1985-86 Bears.............11-4 (.733)
1996-97 Packers.........16-6 (.727)
1990-91 Bills.................11-6 (.647)

And, just so you do not forget....

No team – not even among football's most legendary teams – has won more games against quality opponents over a two-year period than the 2003-04 Patriots.

PM me with your address and I'll send you a copy!

It may take a few weeks because I'll have to accompany Nellcote to his 'Suicidal Patsies Anonymous Group' meeting.

I'm really worried about him!
Just watch on Sunday as his Mousse for 25 curdles!!!
He'll have more guests than the Pats have points!!!

lmao...awww, be easy on Nelly.
He's gonna need us in the weeks that follow...who else can he turn his sobbing head to? We have BIG shoulders for him to lean on.

Seriously, let him have his glory waving his loyalty...I can relate

More seriously...Thank you, Roost! I am sending you a PM shortly with my info. I have nothing but time on my hands...I shall wait patiently.

you make a me nervous.
January 14th, 2005 11:08 PM
mac_daddy you guys are delusional if you think that the falcons will win the whole thing...

there is no way.

the colts would outscore them, the pats or pit will stop them, and the jets, well if the jets get to the big game, they will be rollin' on momentum, but would be the easiest game for the dirty birds, but there is no way that the superbowl would be atl v. nyj...

they should get by the lambs, though - but that is a good matchup as those two teams are at the same level (step down from elite)...

as for the matchups (1-4 last week)

pit -8.5
stl +7
phil -8 (moss is NOT 100%, and the eagles have a great pass d)
pats -2 :: this one is my lock of the week.

have a good weekend, y'all!
