A few minutes ago the DJ on the XM Deep Tracks channel stated that XM will soon be announcing plans to broadcast a Stones show live (not a replay) which will be on a Saturday night in "a couple weeks" and that it could be in front of a million or more people. We are advised to stay tuned for details.
BTW, XM is supposed to air one of the 1981 King Biscuit shows tonight (7FEB) at 9:00 EST on Deep Tracks. I have yet to hear that confirmed. |

I feed an analog signal directly from my XM receiver into my CD recorder. It all depends on the quality of the signal. |

If this is true..and the Deep Tracks djs are pretty good...then we would have a digital stereo feed superior by far to any FM broadcast ever done.I'm sure the teckies would figure out a way to record it.....This could be huge! |
