Gazza Ok..heres how this 'tree' works, folks

You can sign up for this tree from now until midnight UK time on Saturday 17th December (thats 7 pm ET in the US)

This is a 5-CD set

If you wish to sign up for this 'tree' ,please do NOT do so by replying below this post - the ONLY method is to send an e-mail to me at [email protected] before the closing date for sign ups. You must be a "Rocks off" registered user to participate.

Please enclose with your e-mail :

1. your Rocks off screen name
2. your e-mail address for any correspondence
3. country of residence (please also add your STATE if you live in the USA)
4. Whether you wish to be a branch or a leaf. If you wish to be a branch, please state how many leaves you would be willing to make copies for.

After you sign-up, you will receive a confirmation e-mail from me within 48 hours (usually within 24 hours)

After the deadline has passed,I will e-mail the tree structure to everyone who has signed up. It will be organised on a regional basis. As much as possible, you will be getting your discs from someone in your own region.

This collection will also be offered as a Bit Torrent on the Rocks Off torrent site within the next few weeks if you wish to use that method for obtaining it.

By signing up for this tree, you are doing so on the strict understanding that you do NOT re-sell these recordings for any personal gain. Anyone who does so will be banned from taking part in future trees. The whole purpose of this project is to share the music with other fans and NOT to make money by selling bootlegs. If you're a collector who sells CD's or CDR's, please do NOT register for this tree. Thanks

speedfreakjive Hi, the Rocks Off bit torrent site is the Bit Torrent Tracker, ok? Have you any ideas why it is that evry time I click on it, its always "this page can't be found" etc?
December 9th, 2005 02:43 PM
stonesmachine Sounds great, thank you!!!!

Question: Will it be listed as "Vaults pt1" on the tracker?
just want to be sure I can find it
December 10th, 2005 02:44 AM
marko Not sure,i think we should come up with a REAL name.
December 10th, 2005 03:34 PM
Paranoid_Android QQQ, I am new to the TREE thing...would it be out of line if a "Tree" requests $$$ for costs...blank CD, Jewel cases, shipping etc...I just want to avoid any undue uncomfortable sCenerios.
December 10th, 2005 04:58 PM
marko Youn donīt need to send cases,,,,just wrap them safely, and
inside US it wonīt be expensive.Everyone can afford to do
this.

the discs are passed on either :

1) by a straight trade for the same number of discs from the other person's collection

2) or a Blanks & Postage (B&P) deal, ie you send the person with the discs the requisite number of blanks (without jewel cases) plus EITHER the cost of 1st class return postage (stamped addressed envelope, etc) OR extra blanks to cover the cost of the return postage
December 11th, 2005 11:41 PM
Paranoid_Android THANX!!! THAT is VERY reasonable and easy too!!!
December 12th, 2005 09:39 AM
gimmekeef Would torrenting be possible or are these mostly mp3 sourced?.Just thinking if we could use the tracker distribution might be quicker and lossless quality would be apprciated by those that havent tried to torrent yet....just a thought....many thanks to marko for such a wonderful gesture!!!!!!

They'll be torrented for those who can use this feature but are being offered as a 'tree' primarily for those who cant

Mp3's are banned on our tracker. These recordings arent from those sources
