recorded from the field, in between the 2 rear repeaters. outstanding quality. stick with it, sound quality degrades when asshole security guard made us move. we came back after a song and the rest of the show is fine.

Brown Sugar - It's Only Rock'n'Roll - Start Me Up - Don't Stop - Tumbling Dice - Undercover - Wild Horses - You Can't Always Get What You Want - Midnight Rambler - Love Train - Slippin' Away - Before They Make Me Run - Sympathy For The Devil - You Got Me Rocking - Let It Bleed -Like A Rolling Stone - Gimme Shelter - Honky Tonk Women - Street Fighting Man - Jumping Jack Flash - Satisfaction

mac_daddy that is what I am trying to find out...

they are sourced from the tapers...
01-30-04 07:03 PM
Gazza theyre all available OK

the only 1999 show that doesnt appear to be in circulation is Fargo
01-30-04 07:05 PM
mac_daddy thanks.
01-30-04 07:54 PM
Steel Wheels I attended all but the 3/16 show...I could have screamed when I learned they played some of my favorites that night and I missed it.

01-30-04 08:45 PM
mac_daddy actually I think the 15th only circulated as a monitor mix - and that is the only one I have heard. This AUD is definitely better...

Steel Wheels No rain for this show:

The Rolling Stones
Veterans Stadium
Philadelphia, PA
10-12-97

It was a clear night, not a cloud in the sky.

Rain happened when they played there in 94, not 97.

JumpinJackFlash Philadelphia, PA
10-12-97

This exactly the same setlist I seen in Edmonton,Alberta. Back in 97.

I have a boot of this show called "Moonlight Highlight" -from the board but mix is terrible - either Keith or Ronnie but not both, some radio interference, also.
I wouldn't recommend this version.

Was the Fargo show notable? It seems like when they play the sticks, they give a rather generic setlist.
02-04-04 09:51 AM
Gazza Not particularly notable (although it was by far the easiest ticket to get on the whole tour)

Just a bit annoying if youre a collector and theres ONE bloody show on the whole tour you cant find (see also Lisbon 1990 and that private show at the Joint in 2002)
02-04-04 11:33 AM
marko I´ve heard rumours that Joint-02 is existing,,,,,don´t know
if its true.

steel driving hammer Was listening to Stuggart 99 a few nights ago.

B Stage that night was killer.

Killer.

Isn't Stuggart the best recording of 99?
02-04-04 01:25 PM
Gazza no way. Wembley 11th June (the first show ever treed on Rocks Off) is the dog's bollocks of recordings from that tour!

Great new signature pic and message at the bottom,Tony - "no more hot rocks" (we should make banners of that for the next tour!) whats with the green and purple 'balls' flying past Mick's head, though?
