Does anybody know the picking that is used on the guitar for this song? I know its capoed on the 2nd fret, but I wish someone would have tabs for the picking, not just the simple chords. Thanks |

Verse 1:
C A G (x2)
Wading through the waste stormy winter
C A G (x2)
And there’s not a friend to help you through
C A G C
Trying to stop the waves behind your eyeballs
G D G (x2)
Drop your reds, drop your greens and blues
Verse 2:
C A G (x2)
Thank you for your wine, California
C A G (x2)
Thank you for your sweet and bitter fruits
C A G C
Yes, I’ve got the desert in my toenail
G D G (x2)
And I hid the speed inside my shoe
Chorus:
C A G (x2)
But come on come on down sweet Virginia
C A G (x2)
Come on honey child I beg of you
C A G C
Come on come on down you got it in you
G D G (x2)
Got to scrape that shit right off your shoes
Ain't it just strumming? Not picking though?

I know how to play the Stripped version... I dunno about the Exile version though... All I know is that Mick Taylor's guitar on the Exile version is fucking awesome! |
