quote: In 1982 I produced demos written by FEAR and John Belushi for the movie Neighbors with Belushi singing. The final tracks were produced by Steve Croppa and vocal coached by Lee Ving and Mick Jagger, but were never used as Belushi passed away before its' release.
About 6 months later Jagger recorded and released a song called "Neighbors". Wonder where he got that idea? (same melody)
this doesn't make sense. tattoo you was released in 1981, and the songs were all written, and layed down on tape (in one for or another) well before that...
if anything, jagger recycled neigbors for the movie (nothin' like cashing in on the royalties)... |

Yes it's inconsistent as he said he produced the track in 1982 and The Tattoo You version of Neighbours was recorded in May 1981, the album on August 27, 1981 so?? |

Didn't someone (Patrick Alley) pull this with Mick's solo hit "Just Another Night"? Is Mr. Ving trying to get any royalties or just griping? |

originally recorded in October 1980. They only did some overdubs (sax, etc) in may '81, which makes the guy's claim even more unlikely |
