I was watching VH1 yesterday and they showed the Chesney Hawks video for One And Only. Could anyone here explain to me how Roger Daltery ended being in it? It’s bizarre! |

The song came from a film called "Buddy's Song" where Chesney played an aspiring pop star
Daltrey played the part of his ageing teddy-boy father.
Cheesy film, but Roger is (as usual) pretty good in it. |

Thanks Gazza. I'd seen the video before and always wondered what Roger was doing in it!
The only thing I've seen him act in was that episode of The Bill. He was pretty good in that!

Might be hard to find now, but see if you can track down "McVicar" which he made around 1980 (he plays the title role - John McVicar - who was a career criminal and who is now a respected journalist)
He's terrific in it. Good soundtrack too. |

Based on the book of the same name by Nigel Hinton (quick plug as I used to know him).
