To think he just received a Kennedy Center Honor. Then again, it's rather appropriate! |

James B. is a violent PCP- head.
I still think the dude is an r&b God.
Maybe he'll teach P.O.S. 50cent in the slammer??? Nah,
50c is a JLO of rap. |

Somebody book Eddie Murphy for an upcoming SNL, to do a new edition of James Brown
We are so lucky to have James Brown. He is the consummate
performer. Great music for over 40 plus years, small bit movie parts that always get you up and rocking, and a colorful personal life. Imagine if you lived on the Kamchatka Peninsula, and were to miss this great performer? How empty life would be....
Just think, this could be Bobby Brown in a few years..
In fact, I think having the surname Brown is a catalyst for trouble. Didn't Jim Brown the football player get into some mischief as well?
Oh well, I'm all Browned off now, back to work....
GO PATS!!!!! |

Went home last night and ol' JB was on the news.
My youngest, who has become the lil' queen of funk lately, was quite visibly shaken that he was in trouble. I opened a bottle of wine, explained to her that ol' JB is one crazy bastard, and then we put on JB's 40th Anniversary disc and funked out!
Hot Pants!

Nankie, I remember when you saw JB at the 9:30 club.
Btw, what is the best/cheapest place to buy Newcastle? I'm "sheepish" to pay almost $9/6pack...lol. |

Did anyone see Conan last night?
He made a reference to the fact that, "...just when he thought Nick Nolte's mug shot was an all-time 'best'... someone had to 'out-do' it." Then, they flashed 'ole James' mug, lmao!
Nanky, I immediately thought of you |

That is TOO FUNNY!!
Perhaps Conan is a secret RO lurker!!!

Yeah I saw JB here a couple of years ago and I was quite impressed -- wish I coulda seen him in his prime tho!
Don't know where to get Newcastles in the bottle other than Sutton Place at $10 a six. Ruby Tuesday's in Reston has them on tap for $4 a pint (so I hear) and Macaroni Grille in Dulles Town Center has them too on tap!
Conan has precisely the same kind of sick, twisted mind that we here at RO treasure! Glad he put both shots up! |

That picture makes me wonder if the cops acted appropriatley. It seems to me they could have at least let him throw on a shirt. |
