Martha Mick Taylor..Happy Birthday! May you be blessed today and everyday.

Whenever I hear "Love In Vain" from YaYa's everything else stops, and I go right into that space that only great music (guitarists) can take me...the space of euphoria, light and joy. Your musical touch has been "felt" by me. I can't help but "feel" that sound when it is playing anywhere near me.

I can never truly thank you properly, I mean really, how does a fan express this deep-felt gratitude? However, I must attempt to thank you as humbly as I can for your unique talents and wonderfully expressive, gorgeous sounding guitar. You blow me away everytime I listen to that track, not to mention all the other songs that your signature is solidly upon. How I LOVE to hear you play. It delights me over and over again.

I hope to be one of the lucky people to see you preform live in 2004. Please come to the States (Ohio) and blow me away!

Long may you live in peace and prosperity.

with fondness and tremendous admiration,
Martha

KeithRichards210 Happy Birthday, Mick! Your superb playing is sorely missed by a lot of us Stones fans. It was a pleasure meeting you at the Great American Music Hall back in '00, and seeing you again in Florida later that year. I immensely enjoyed both shows too. I hope to see a new album in the near future. Cheers!

Maxlugar I've ALWAYS got my Vibrato Goggles on!!!

Happy Birthday to the greatest guitarist the Rolling Stones ever had and will have again. Come home soon Micky T! Your liquid smooth lead lines make Macky's Stones Bone stand up and salute! Clean and fast like a mountain stream, your leads are.

Clear, velvet shiny little solo ditty...

I just...can't express enough...in this...form......er.....

Oh my God! Poem alert! Go!

Mick Taylor's Fingers:

They make me quiver
When they deliver
I cry a River
With my gin Soaked liver
Whilst the notes, they slink and slither ...............

(Maxlugar, From the Black Box Posts collection.)

Thanks!

The Post with the most.

Moxy!

VoodooChileInWOnderl This was the reply I received from his wife on January 22, 2004

Thanks, I just looked at all the lovely birthday wishes to Mick, very nice. I will try very hard for him to see them all.

I'm posting this in order to avoid this thread going to the archives. If it goes to the archives the URL will be different and Mick won't see it.
