sandrew The indispensable Bill German says on his Beggars Banquet website to "Stay tuned. Something's brewing." The guy always knows it first. Anyone know what he does for a living nowadays?

Wonder what it is.

I will tell you all that this week I have been highly infected with Stonesitus. I had a feeling that something was brewing -- that the storm was threatening. Ever since I saw Mick's release sold something like 32 units worldwide, I had a feeling that something was gonna start cooking. I suspect that they have to really start working up the tour plans at this point no? Venues, schedules, stages, etc.

Man to be a fly on those walls...

Mick: "what do you think nank?"

Me: "well Mick, I think anything less than a 58 song set list is really not in the spirit of the 40th anniversary"

Keith: "Yes I quite agree"

Mick: "well for that many songs we'll need to pull out some of the more obscure stuff"

Me: "Yeah, 20-25 songs would do -- maybe Hand of Fate..."

Keith: "Yeah Hand of Fate"

Me: "...or Had it With You..."

Charlie: "Yeah, we 'aven't played nearly enough off of Dirty Work"

Me: "...or Down in the Hole"

Mick: "Well that's it then, 58 songs, 20-25 obscure ones - maybe on a B-stage"

Me: "B stage? Micky Micky Micky. You guys need to play right down in the audience"

Ronnie: "We got any more beer?"

Mick: "what about the stage"

Me: "a giant tongue of course"

Keith: "Opening song?"

Everyone simultaneously: "Sympathy"
