LOL! Thats going to be great!! I love to smoke a bone and watch The Simpsons late night after changing Rocks Off header and being a good husband !
John Entwistle, Roger Daltrey, Keith "Homer" Moon and Pete Townshend
Matt Groening is a rocker, he was a close friend of Frank Zappa, and a witness of Zappas last jam. Matt invited Frank to see the Tuvan throat singers at Cal Tech, Zappa could not attend the show as he was sick, but asked Matt Groening to invite them to his house after the show.
Zappa organized an evening of conducted improvisations, there were the Tuvans, Johnny Guitar Watson, the Chieftans (stones related) and L. Shankar, that was Zappa last jam, he was conducting but not playing, Matt was there.
According to Matt, Zappa told him he wished he could have controlled it a little bit more but it was quite an effort just for him to be present.
Between the many rocks acts that have been guests, all with original voices from the real artists, we have
Paul and Linda McCartney
Ringo Starr
Aerosmith
Ramones
Bette Midler
Red Hot Chilli Peppers
Smashing Pumpkins
Spinal Tap
Additionally there have been many mentions to the Rolling Stones, Jefferson Airplane, Jimi Hendrix, The Doors, Grateful Dead and many, many more

Mick Jagger's
Simpsons
cameo
Yellow wrinkles in
Springfield
Mick Jagger is clinging to
the things of youth with a
special appearance in The
Simpsons. His guest role
has been recorded for next
season, but insiders are
unwilling to reveal exactly
what will happen when the
wrinkly crooner makes his
appearance alongside Bart
and Homer et al.
58-year-old Mick's last
appearance on screen was
as a pimp, providing lonely
women with male companions in the The Man from Elysian
Fields. Now he'll be joining a long list of famous names who
have appeared in cameos with The Simpsons, including Sir
Paul McCartney, Bono and the rest of U2, and REM. |
