Lethargy If the Police played a small theatre, I'd wait in lines for hours to see them. But there is zero chance in hell I'll see them in a stadium.

i would much rather see them in a small venue too.....but think about the tail gate party.

i'm wondering if they are going to have back up people playing with them, or is it just going to be the 3 of them....

hmmmmmm

Lazy Bones ...hearsay reveals 80 dates, no?
29th January 2007 07:28 AM
corgi37 Their last tour had about 90 people onstage.

I see this tour as being even more violent than any GnR tour.

Sting Vs Copeland every night, with Trudy tag-teaming with hubby. Though Copeland has the height, Sting's got that Tantric thing going.

Wonder if he can suck his own dick?

Bitch I'll see them in NY, I hope they will play The Garden.

Not quite that many...

Last two tours each had 3 extra musicians -
Ghost In The Machine had the Chops Horns, and Synchronicity had 3 backing vocalists.

Some Guy New VAN HALEN Compilation In The Works?
According to MelodicRock.com, VAN HALEN will likely play two dates in Las Vegas at The Pearl at The Palms Casino on April 27-28 before kicking off a full North American tour sometime late spring. A list of 17 VAN HALEN tour dates was posted online over the weekend, but those are now said to be "merely a proposed itinerary/routing that is no longer valid," according to the site.

In other news, it appears that there are tentative plans for VAN HALEN to release a new compilation via Rhino Records. The collection, which will concentrate solely on the band's David Lee Roth era, will not feature any new material but will "have a little more character" than just a "best of" compilation.

Ten Thousand Motels I don't take the Police seriously. IMO they're a bore.

Saint Sway I have an old book on Ron Wood and his paintings called "The Works" by Bill Germain

in the book, Woody tells a tale about having a wild party in his suite one night after a show. Theres a knock at the door and he asks "Who's there?"... "its the police!!"

naturally, everyone scurries around and flushes everything in sight as fast as possible. Woody returns to the door and opens it to find Sting and his band mates awaiting entry

naturally, Woody tells it better. But a funny story nontheless

Ten Thousand Motels That's a funny story for sure but why should anyone have anything to hide from the police?
