There's now a more friendly message up saying that they've got hardware problems - which may take a lengthy time (i.e. a day or so) to resolve

"Howdy, folks!
We are experiencing massive network problems with our new DB server since today (Tuesday) afternoon. Obviuosly, either a hardware problem with the server (NIC) or with the switch serving the subnet of our DB server.
All servers (trackers) are stopped until the problem is fixed. How long this will take, is currently unknown. Maybe a day or longer.
Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause!
