corgi37 Short article in Melbourne paper on Monday. The London Philharmonic Orchestra is working on a new cd of stones songs to get a classical workover. Jagger was quoted as saying to the conducter: "Gee, we wrote some good stuff didnt we?" Cd is due for release later this year.

mick&keith didn't they do a classical one in the 1960's? i have an old album cover w/ stones behind chain link fence, think it says something like the andrew loog oldham orchestra and it consists of instrumental stones songs. record was gone, picked it up secondhand for a quarter, cover is worth it!

corgi37 yeah, your right about that record. It came out in mid 60's, very early days. The Verve had a hit with "Bittersweet Symphony", which pinched a sample of "The Last Time" from that record.
