I just read the old thread from August 2002 about Leni Riefenstahl's 100th birthday party. I was particularly struck by sirmoonie's comment that Mick's attendance at the party was the equivalent of pissing on the graves of the quarter million British WWII dead.
It reminded me of the scene in the railroad car in "A Hard Day's Night." A stiff-necked upper class Brit tells Ringo, "I fought in the war for the likes of you." Ringo responds, "Bet you're sorry you won." |

Sorry such sorrow reminded you of such a sorry moment. |
