I got your message on my machine tonight but I was busy trying out a new drummer, (who SUCKED) Any GOOD drummers out there who lives within 25 miles of Sac and wants a PAYING gig ? Marc, you didn't leave me your phone number or I would of called you back. I am sending out CD's to you, "K", "a girl in IL", Mr. Becker, and then I'm fucking DONE.
Hey, tell me if this is weird or not. The girlfriend of the guy trying out for the drummer spot tonight, when we met for the first time, she full on kissed me on the LIPS while hugging me AND she let her hands sort of "drop" down on my ass. (I know what your thinking Bro BUT he SUCKED as a drummer !!)
I'm on the road for the next two days but give me your number via email or PM or whatever, OK ? I will call you or you can try calling me again, OK ?
I promise before I leave I'm mailing this stuff off.

Jimmy...she did that because she knows her boyfriend is a shitty drummer. She figured if you thought she might give it up, you might go easy on the boyfriend...maybe even give him the gig. I bet the boyfriend even put her up to it.

Well Fang,SS might be right here,but as that does nothing for your ego maybe you should look at it differently. I'd say that what she was trying to convey was that she knows full well that her boyfriend sucks on drums and she was trying,in a not so subtle way,to let you know that she is ready for a white hot guitar player instead. She was probably embarressed to be in the same room with that guy. I mean c'mon! What the hell else could it mean?!

Knowing Fang...it's #3.
There's plenty of chicks in the sea for a guy like THE Cardinal Fang.
Besides anyone who has ever been in a band will tell you, finding a decent drummer is REALLY hard. Shitty drummers with female baggage are something best avoided. Nothing but trouble.
