This Saturday night, the DSU Program Board presents STAND , a band formed on the streets and schoolyards of Dublin, Ireland in 1994. They spent years rehearsing and performing continuously in clubs throughout Ireland and Europe. Their live show developed into one of the most talked about on the Irish scene. “More energy than a barrel of monkees” is how legendary New York venue operator Ken Gorka (The Bitter End) describes this band onstage.

With influences such as U2, this Irish band has made their mark on America’s collegiate music scene with “music so good that you want to run out and tell your friends about it.”
