There are two rules in Show Business :

1. ) NEVER FU## with CARSON ( R.I.P. )

2. ) NEVER FU## with Keith Richards

FPM C10 "We touch them every day. We know them as individuals."

KNOW them? As in "have knowledge of them"? Do they mean biblically? I think perhaps they DO.

As this tragic thread got hijacked via "jew lawyers" into "johnny carson", I will add that I was never a big fan of Johnny's but mourn him as another quintessential element of the old America which is gone and won't return. I guess perhaps it would be best if we just round up everyone in public life of any quality or class who remind us of how America used to be and euthanize them. It's too painful to do it one at a time and realize we LOST Johnny Cash but still have Toby Keith, we lost Johnny Carson but still have Jay Leno, etc. So let's turn over a new leaf and celebrate our mediocrity!

Agreed !

In America today , everyone is so " Uncivil " towards each other ! I don't believe that any of US have done anything wrong , but sometimes you get one of them bad feelings ( see : early January , 1968 , right before the TET OFFENSIVE ! )

glencar I'm troubled by repeated allusions to America's triumph of mediocrity. I mean, we had a dumb ass hick running things for 8 years & things seemed okay although we found out later that most companies were committing rampant fraud & Muslims were lining up to take us down. The last 3 years ahve been a vast improvement over what transpired before. Things will only improve now that the Dems have again had their asses handed to them. Forward on, George!

Hey...I got nothing against the people of NYC...I was referring to the weather...I have more respect for those who live and work in NYC than any Boca Raton sand lapper...those who can make it in NYC stay...those who can't move to Boca Raton and live off their parents' inheritance
January 25th, 2005 12:29 PM
glencar Oh, I was just joking too. NYC has its good & bad points. Boca is where I'm going to retire in a few years. As long as I can find a street without too many jews. Those guys are so annoying.

I make just enough money to avoid arrogant blow hards like yourself...what more can I ask?

Ten Thousand Motels Florida may be nice for a couple of months out the year, especially if you hate the cold as much as I do. But there are alot nicer places. Too goddam flat for my tastes.

It is flat...but the life style and lack of state income tax make it very appealing.

Well most politicians are lawyers, that should tell you something. But one needs a good lawyer to protect yourself from cops, bad doctors and other lawyers.

I don't know much about the "Florida lifestyle" but I certainly am in favor of the tax structure. Maine is a tax monster....and the politicians are really stupid and corrupt.
