Glencar, I suffer from severe Tinnitis since 1989...I developed it after the Stones concerts at the orange Bowl and I beleive it was "Living Colr" that did it to me. In my case no hearing loss, but chronic buzzing and electric sensations..I use a audio sound machine at night to mask out the sounds.....I wish you the best of luck.....

glencar Well, while I consider "Living Colour" ahighly infectious band, my problems were caused by a lifelong problem with the middle ear. My left ear is fine so if we ever meet, talk to my left side!

No class action suit against Living Colour for pain and suffering??? I'm surprised.

jb There have been some cases brought, but generally, you assume the risk and are comparatively negligent as ear plugs could substantially reduce the harmful decipal levels.....

kath hey, i was just looking at the dates everybody registered..2002 was a big year, huh?

gosh, it's swell being here with all these great folks on RO for over two years now. glencar and i have both been here about the same length of time. i see another person on this thread as being here about 8 months longer or so, but hey!! who cares as long as we just keep having all this good natured fun, huh?

golly, let the good times roll!!

and i have heard that indian doctors (whether they are "india indian" or "native american indian")are very good. in fact, it was an india indian doctor who saved my hearing when i was just a little girl.

take care glencar!!!

LEO SAYER lyrics - "You Make Me Feel Like Dancing"

(Leo Sayer and Vini Poncia)

You've got a cute way of talking
You got the better of me
Just snap your fingers and I'm walking
Like a dog hanging on your lead
I'm in a spin you know
Shaking on string you know

You make me feel like dancing
I'm gonna dance the night away
You make me feel like dancing
I'm gonna dance the night away
You make feel like dancing
I feel like dancing
Dancing, dance the night away
I feel like dancing, dancing, aaaah

Quarter to four in the morning
I ain't feeling tired no, no, no, no, no
Just hold me tight and leave on the light
'Cause I don't want to go home
You put a spell on me
I'm right where you want me to be

You make me feel like dancing
I gonna to dance the night away
You make me feel like dancing
I'm gonna dance the night away
You make feel like dancing
I feel like dancing, dancing
Dance the night away
I feel like dancing, dancing
Dance the night away
I feel like dancing, dancing
Dance the night away
I feel like dancing, dancing

And if you'll let me stay
We'll dance our lives away
You make me feel like dancing
I want to dance my life away
You make me feel like dancing
I'm want to dance my life away
You make feel like dancing
I'm want to dance my life away
You make feel like dancing
I'm want to dance my life away

doo doo doo Dude For Joey:

"Johnny Carson"
by The Beach Boys

He sits behind his microphone
John-ny Car-son
He speaks in such a manly tone
John-ny Car-son

Ed McMahon comes on and says "Here's Johhny"
Every night at eleven thirty he's so funny
It's (nice) to (have) you (on) the (show) tonight
I've seen (your) act (in) Vegas out of sight

When guests are boring he fills up the slack
John-ny Car-son
The network makes him break his back
John-ny Car-son

Ed McMahon comes on and says "Here's Johhny"
Every night at eleven thirty he's so funny
Don't (you) think (he's) such (a) natural guy
The (way) he's (kept) it (up) could make you cry

Who's a man that we admire?
Johnny Carson is a real live wire.
Who's a man that we admire?
Johnny Carson is a real live wire.
Who's a man that we admire?
Johnny Carson is a real live wire.
Who's the man that we admire?
Johnny Carson is a real live wire.

Blue ..... I too suffer from severe Tinnitus since the year 1989...I developed it after the Rolling Stones concerts at Arrowhead Stadium , Kansas City in October of 1989 and Cyclone Stadium in Ames, IA , again in October of 1989.

Indeed , it was the opening band "Living Color" that caused me ears to become so terrible -- In my case no hearing loss , but chronic loss of melody and profound electric sensations .. I use a audio sound machine at night to mask out the pabulum.....

JACKY !

Jacky ! .... Jacky ! .... Jacky !

glencar Actually, I just got back from the doc. I should say that he is an excellent doctor & comes highly recommended. Unfortunately, he didn't deliver the news I want to hear but other than FOX, who does? I just wonder if going to Stones shows will ever be the same again.
