JAXX - I did not call you a wanker on the other Chris Jagger thread. I was referring to the guy who supported Jagger at one or some of his Melbourne shows!!!! Gazza sent me a mean PM, and i didnt even realise i had done anything wrong or anyone was offended by this post. I mean, i am insulted. I have written many more way worse insulting things!!
Fucking hell, i thought it was a pretty clear post. I didnt refer to you once, did i?
As i said, his name is Jimi Hocking. I was hoping SIA might be able to offer some comments on Hocking. SIA, do you know of him? He was in Screaming Jets for a while, but got the boot because he thought he was the star. IN the early 90's, Jimi Hocking, or "THE HUMAN" as he calls himself, was a would be Joe Satriani. The main "connection" i was trying to make was that Jimi Hocking plays at my local club every Wednesday. He is still wearing his thinning hair in a permed mullet. And playing Norwegian bloody Wood!!
Sorry if i didnt explain myself correctly.
Hope this clears everything up! I am every one's friend.
P.S. Mind you, if SIA likes Jim "The Human" Hocking, looks like i'm on HIS shit list now. |

"Better" was their 1st hit. And they did that Nick Cave song that was pretty big. I saw them once at the "Beer Garden" in Surfers. It was a day or 2 after Kurt Cobain changed his hat size.
Man, the singer, Dave Gleeson, spared no expense in ridiculing Cobain. It was pretty cool. Heaps of people had Nirvana t-shirts on and he was like "Hey, i see alot of Nirvan fans here". Lots of hollering and whooping and "devil fingers signs". Dave then goes "What a fucking loser that prick is! Weak bastard!".
You could have heard a pin drop! hahaha.
All night he kept on saying stuff. The highlight for me and my mate was when he said: "Hey, a quick impression. Who am i?" - and then he pulled his t-shirt over his head and stumbled around.
Lord, it was funny. And, lord, they were terribly "90's".
Oh, and another blast from the past. The drummer was from Uncanny X-men!!! |
