Great shots, Voodoo!
Sway...I hope you're not intimating that Chris Robinson is even remotely in the same league as Jagger - beardwise or otherwise.

It needs to be said.
Mick Jagger should NEVER sport a beard.
It does NOT suit that face, imhfo.

robinson is just a pretender -
his persona and dress is deliberately retro and it bugs me. |

I agree. But then, I'm not too crazy about beards anyway. Too Grizzly Adams for my tastes.

I like Chris Robinson with the beard, but it's not the best for Mick. But he is great in that picture with Brian...I just don't like the bush-man look!

If his beard was a bit longer than in those photographs, he could have sat in with ZZ Top. |

Great idea!! Not everyone is capable of growing a beard like that. Hell, I'm 40 and can't even grow side burns. |

No! The Stones are a no-beard zone (except for Chuck, but I'll allow him to keep it because he did such a good job with the setlists for the fall leg of the tour.)
And TBS, don't sweat it. Facial hair is overrated.

Yeah I gotta agree, the Stones and beards don't mix too well. Chuck...well he's just a sideman anyway. But ZZ Top on the other hand wear them well....just gotta watch out for the pizza cheese and sauce that gets caught in the beard, dries up, gets crusty and all that. |

Side burns are cool, but I have made my peace with the fact that I'll never have them. Bobby DeNiro can't grow them either, so I got that going for me. |

I assumed, maybe incorrectly, that wifey would not let him walk out of the house without them. I know that's how it works in my house. |

Tell me about it, I saw this picture in close-up on the cover of a magazine, back in '98, the beginning of my Stones mania. Didn't buy the magazine cause I didn't recognize it was Mick Still regretting it and feeling embarassed to this day.
Yep, the beard was a no-go. |
