I remember Keith saying that it was all about him getting clean. The patio ain't dry line is indeed about how the drinks are flowing. In other words,"I'm off the smack,but I'm still partying." Southern sour mash,Rebel Yell,and all that.

The "dealer's squealin" refers to Spanish Tony's tell-all book, which came out in 1979.
"Scars' healing" is a bit redundant after "tracks are fading," which of course both refer to needle marks from fixing smack. |

Well there ya go then. Not since the Euro leg of the Tattoo You tour. I certainly would not be holding my breath that Keith is all of the sudden gonna pull it out of the mothballs. Wish he would,but c'mon now. Keith's set has been the least changed aspect of the last few tours. That's not gona change anytime soon I'm afraid.
Keith did mix things up a bit for the No Security tour,I saw You Got the Silver,in Philly,but since then? Pretty standard stuff ever since.
