I don't care too much about the private life of genius or high level rock stars, they use to be “so special” to say something. ...That piece of art is, as you say Voodoo in poor taste, and The Stones did not condone it's production I'm sure, still; why did they not veto it's publication? The guy who made that, believe it or not, is the same guy who designed, and produced the cover to 'It's Only Rockn'Roll', Guy Peelhart, a Belgian artist. There is a very good book called 'Rock Dreams' featuring this guy's artwork, and many of the images of The Stones are very good. One in particular that I have always liked is of Mick and Keith as pirates, the one of Mick, Keith& Brian having just bedded Anita is also a bit weird. |
