Romanian language isn't mine but some words are easily understandable.
http://www.libertatea.ro/index.php?section=articole&screen=stire&sid=171375
- Scheduled date : July 14th 2007
- Place : Constitution Square, just in front of the Parliament Palace.
This place looks like the avenue in front of Rome's Coliseum (and the free concerts here)
- tickets or sponsorized show ? This is not clear at this point.

Nope. But the rumour is for a free concert
Good to see a date being mentioned at last
IF the tour is due to start in late May, that date suggests it may be longer than the 15-20 shows that have been rumoured for a while.
Maybe the logistical problems with arranging the Asian leg might see us getting extra shows instead.

Isn't Romania becoming quite a poular holiday desination now? I think it'll be great if they play there. I'm sure I won't be there but it'll still be great |

yeah, you can fly there with RYANAIR.
You probably get dumped somewhere in Germany,
but at least the ticket was cheap..

I dont see any Romanian destinations on their site.
With Romania now joining the EC and lots of them flocking to Britain, I suppose we can expect the low cost airlines to start a lot of flights there, similar to what Easyjet and others did when Poland joined. |

The Montjuic Stadium has supposedly already been booked for a show this summer so it looks like you'll be in luck.

The Central European low cost airline SkyEurope flies to Bucharest from Bratislava, Budapest, Kosice, Rome and Vienna
Unless you live close to one of those places or are going for one of the more expensive airlines, for most people in Europe, you'll need two flights to get to that one.
71 Euro return from Rome, though - including 48 Euro taxes - not bad. |
