Zack Very funny, Sway.

I love Moonlight Mile, but it could have done without the gratuitous cocaine reference (with a head full of snow - repeated, no less!), and Jagger should have let Taylor do a solo at the end ā la Winter (which is mixed too low for my satisfaction, but that's another thread).

Reunion Off!
I have now heard from a good source (Harvey Goldsmith employee) that the VH 07 summer tour is now off after David & his team failed to agree terms with the Van Halen management.

I have not heard anything regarding the HOF appearence.

-DLR Army.

David Lee Roth That's Life Lyrics:

That's life, That's Life
that's what all the people say.
You're riding high on Monday,
shot down in May.
But I, I ain't never gonna change my tune
when I'm back on top in the month of June.

I said, that's life. That's Life
Ain't as funny as it may seem,
some people get their kicks
stompin' on a dream.
But I, I don't never let it get me down
'cause that big ol' world keeps spinnin' 'round.

Been a puppet, pirate, a poet, a pauper, a pawn and a king.
Been up and down and over and out and I know one thing:
each time that I find myself flat on my face
I pick myself up and get back in the race.

That's life, That's Life
And I can't deny it,
many times I thought of quitting, babe,
but my heart wouldn't buy it.
If I didn't think it was worth one try
I'd jump right on a big bucket and fly.

Been a puppet, poet, pirate, pauper; now I'm a king.
Been up, down, I know one thing:
each time that I find myself flat on my face
I pick myself up and get back in the race.

That's life, That's Life
And I can't deny it,
many times I thought of quitting, babe,
but my heart wouldn't buy it.
If I didn't think it was worth one try
I'd just roll myself up in a big ball and fly.

Excellent song on an excellent album. But I will say this about Sticky Fingers, I can't stand I Got The Blues or Sister Morphine. Those 2 songs are the reason why I will never pick Sticky Fingers as their best. Accuse me of blasphemy all ya want. I Got The Blues is a go nowhere sleepwalker and Morphine is a dopey song about dope. skip em every time.

If I remember correctly, I Got The Blues was in KEITH RICHARD'S Top Ten Favorite Stones Songs list, his own opinion.

Which time?

Who knows. i can only recall one interview where the Stones actually named their to ten fav tracks and that was the Uncut mag from 2002. Jagger and Ronnie named their top tens. I'll try to find it.

VoodooChileInWOnderl Some people say it is the only progressive rock song by the stones, by that time the fusion of psychedelia and progressive was in its best moment. I love it that's why I selected it as the soundtrack for this movie I made

See how nice it sounds as a sountrack:

Alright, this is from a Rolling Stone Magazine Special done on the 1960's, and it was actually published in the 1990's or late 1980's...I don't really have the mag with me right now, but this is something from my lonely teenage journal where I actually wrote similar stuff exclusively about The Stones.
