MOSS CELEBRATES 30TH IN DECADENT STYLE
KATE MOSS enjoyed a lavish party as she celebrated her 30th birthday on Friday (16JAN04) with pals SADIE FROST and GWYNETH PALTROW - where gifts included a diamond-encrusted whip.
The supermodel enjoyed a star-studded party which revolved around a theme based on the decadent 1920s of F SCOTT FITZGERALD'S novel THE BEAUTIFUL AND THE DAMNED - sex, drugs and orgies.
Held at the home of LEAH WOOD, daughter of ROLLING STONES legend RONNIE WOOD, the birthday girl was given over $1.7 million (GBP1 million) worth of gifts - including a diamond-encrusted AGENT PROVOCATEUR whip and underwear.
This was not the only bash held for the style icon. Earlier in the night, Moss, her boyfriend JEFFERSON HACK, NAOMI CAMPBELL and GWYNETH PALTROW attended a party held in the adjoining houses of artists SAM TAYLOR-WOOD and Agent Provocateur boss SERENA REES.
A source says, "The parties looked fantastic. The production was done by the people who organise ALEXANDER MCQUEEN's shows."

WHAT a Sad sight! A sozzled Sadie Frost looks like she's had one bottle of boobly too many.
The estranged wife of Cold Mountain star Jude Law arrived at pal Kate Moss's 30th birthday bash looking chic and very sexy.
But when she left London's Claridges Hotel in the early hours of yesterday morning the lady in red looked worse for wear.
The actress turned fashion designer, 35, then felt a touch of Frost as she stumbled into the back of a taxi and popped out of her dress.
Luckily for Sadie her pal Kate came to the rescue just in time.
The hostess with the Moss-tess slipped out of her blue-sequinned outfit (bottom right) on her way to the after-party at the house of Ronnie Wood's daughter, Leah.
The flash model had thrown a lavish 1920s-style party where a host of famous guests turned up dressed for the occasion.
They included Stella McCartney, Naomi Campbell and Kate's boyfriend Jefferson Hack.
Among Kate's prezzies was a saucy diamond-encrusted whip.

Fashion guru Stella McCartney engaged in a ferocious slanging match with concerned sister Mary on Friday night over Stella's wild partying ways.
According to onlookers at Kate Moss' glitzy 30th birthday bash -- where the birthday girl was given over $1.7 million worth of gifts, including a diamond-encrusted whip and underwear -- trouble flared up between the pair around 3 a.m. when photographer Mary became worried that her sister was drinking too heavily.
But rather than being touched by her older sibling's concern, 32-year-old Stella exploded at Mary, 34, and accused her of being "old" and "boring."
A source says, "Stella was really enjoying herself, albeit a bit too much in her older sister's eyes. She was knocking back the champagne as if it was going out of fashion and looked well-plastered.
"Mary suddenly got hold of her arm and dragged her into the toilet. The door slammed and then all of a sudden you could hear them both screaming at each other.
"They were having a right ding-dong and it went on for nearly quarter of an hour. Mary then stormed out of the loo and they didn't talk to each other for the rest of the night."
Stella and Mary are the children of Sir Paul McCartney and his late wife Linda.
