La policía española informó al líder de los Rolling Stones, Mick Jagger, que una banda de delincuentes intentaba secuestrar a dos de sus nietas (Assisi y Amba) que viven en Ibiza, por lo que el artista decidió contratar un servicio de seguridad privada para protejerlas.
Las hijas de Jade Jagger habrían sido blanco de un operativo de secuestro por parte de una banda de delincuentes de Ibiza, por lo que Jagger, de acuerdo a una información publicada hoy por el periódico The People, contrató agentes de seguridad privada las 24 horas para la mansión que la familia tiene en esa localidad española.
El músico, uno de los personajes más ricos de Gran Bretaña, con una fortuna estimada en 210 millones de libras esterlinas (cerca de 300 millones de euros), decidió contratar a un equipo de protección privada por 25 mil libras semanales, detalló el diario.
De acuerdo a una fuente allegada a la familia de Jagger consignada por Ansa, la hija de Jagger y de la modelo Bianca, está muy preocupada por el supuesto plan de secuestro de sus hijas y podría regresar a vivir a Gran Bretaña.-

SUPER-RICH Mick Jagger has hired crack bodyguards to protect his two granddaughters after cops discovered a terrifying multi-million pound plot to kidnap them.
The veteran rock star is paying an estimated £25,000 a week for the highly-trained squad to mount a constant watch on 10-year-old Assisi and Amba, seven - his daughter Jade's girls.
Worried Sir Mick acted after police on Ibiza, where Jade lives in a remote £600,000 villa, received an underworld tip-off that mobsters were planning the snatch.
The crooks planned to demand a massive ransom for the schoolgirls - knowing that Rolling Stone Jagger is one of Britain's wealthiest men with a £210million fortune. A source close to Jade, 32, told The People: "She is really worried. A kidnap threat is a nightmare and she is hugely concerned for her daughters' safety."
Mick, 60, decided to take no chances. He ordered the elite minders to throw a ring of steel round Jade's home 24 hours a day - and to escort her daughters to and from school.
Our source added: "Police informed Jade of the danger immediately they were tipped off. Because of Mick's wealth, the girls are natural targets for kidnappers.
"Jade is so worried that she may spend more time back in Britain. She prides herself that her girls lead as normal a life as possible. Despite their mum's glamorous friends like Kate Moss, Posh and Becks and Naomi Campbell, they are very down-to-earth girls and not spoilt. But the villa where they live is fairly remote. Security guards patrolling the grounds are the last thing Jade wants but she has been told bluntly to take no risks."
Jagger called in the security team after meeting his insurers. His policy includes kidnap, ransom and protection clauses.
Mick has urged Jade - his daughter by first wife, Nicaraguan beauty Bianca - to return to England.
The part-time model lives with musician Dan Williams in the sleepy, picturesque village of San Juan Bautista. Jade also uses the house as an office, where she is planning her next project - eco-friendly hotels. Assisi and Amba's father, artist Piers Jackson, has been in constant touch with Jade since the threats emerged.
A friend said: "It's a very worrying time for all the family. Mick is keen for them to move back to the UK because he thinks it's much safer.
"He thinks it's a good short-term solution. He knows how much Jade loves her life in Ibiza but, first and foremost, he wants the girls protected."
Jade set up home with husband Jackson in Devon in 1991 but they later broke up.
She launched a career as a model but quit the London party scene for Ibiza.
Jade had an on-off relationship with model and photographer Dan Macmillan, son of wealthy publisher the Earl of Stockton, three years ago.
She landed in hospital after a road crash in Ibiza in 2000. Amba's leg was broken as their car collided head-on with a lorry. Rebel Jade is no stranger to controversy. She admits she has no qualms about telling her daughters that she has taken drugs.
"You have to give children respect from the earliest stage," she said. "I'm a very pro-choice pot smoker and wouldn't dream of telling my children that I didn't smoke pot.
"I think to be honest and open is really important because then they have the capacity to understand those things. I was brought up like that."
At 16, Jade was expelled from her £1,950-a-term boarding school in Wiltshire after being accused of smoking drugs while sneaking out at night to meet Lord Kagan's son Josh Astor.
Last night Jade refused to comment. Later she slammed down the phone saying: "I don't have security."

perhaps back to the topic?? i fear for ALL stones' relatives and the stones themselves. this is exactly WHY i am so very much against people posting the whereabouts of any of their homes/offices/ etc. let's show some common sense here.and think positive thoughts for the jagger family right now. |

I agree it's totallly awful. No wonder so many celebs hide themselves and their families in gated compounds and never go out without a dozen bodyguards.
This kind of nightmare actually happened to a friend of Mick, the late Sir John Paul Getty, whose teenage son was kidnapped in the 70s. The kidnappers cut off the boy's ear to lend more weight to their demand of an enormous ransom. Ugly business...

Oh it makes sense. Posters who delete and run fail to realize that many, many people read before the poster can delete.
Then again, perhaps Voodoo had a hand in the deletion. He does not take to well to criticism of his friends/other websites.

The reason is your re-incidence about flaming others, specifically people that use to post more in other boards.
In one of your first posts you attacked two good friends from Shidoobeeland, I just simply deleted and warned you. I didn’t ban you back then because they are my friends and I didn’t want to look like a dictator; but I warned you in private and in public.
I had enough reasons to ban you then as you also posted a “subliminal” thread comparing IORR and Shidoobeeland in a very bad way, trying to look bad to our very good friends there.
Today you did the same with Stonesdoug, and you posted nasty things about something that was posted at his message board, so you’re doing the very same thing.
Don’t tell we didn’t warn you!
I agree about the recommendation to read the “another kind of spam” thread, as insults is not the only reason to ban.

Well I didn't even see the post. I'm not saying she didn't "deserve" it according to the present rules. I don't see where she caused that much trouble anyway really. But my viewpoint is limited.

Anyway.....Maybe Voodoo did what he thought he had to do. Kind of like I felt yesterday when we had to put Peyton Manning to sleep.
