Plus - think about it - rather obnoxious not to name them. They if any deserve the credit. Period.

oh my, such doubt. here they are, not really in order as they are all #1 for me in the blues genre:
muddy waters
howlin'wolf
slim harpo
jimmy reed
robert johnson
elmore james.

really hope that has given the dignity which these great people desreve.

and as i said, none is #2, all #1 here, for me.

Steel Wheels Outside of the Beatles and Stones, and keeping it with the blues/rock genre, I've melted it down to the following:

John Lee Hooker - my favorite Bluesman, a true original - the real deal. His voice and guitar are totally unique and no one has ever sounded like him. The best.

Chuck Berry - infectious hooks, dancefloor beats. He spawned so many copycats and yet no one came close at all, except for my Keef.

Jimmy Page - I love Pagey's style, sound, the way he crafts tunes. He's amazing. He took blues/rock guitar to another level - the John Lee Hooker of his era.

That Jewish Ike Turner is one hell of a musician! And he's even got a Tina look and sound a like.

Shine a Light - I responded to your query but it looks like your thread was taken down. So here's your answer:

Orson came over for dinner and got ketchup all over his hands. He wiped them off on one the Flemish tapestries. We tried to clean it but a thumbprint still remains. Hope this helps.

THIS IS SHEER STUPIDITY, AS I'VE SAID.....GO AWAY YOU SILLY ASSAND KINDLY DO NOT PM ME AGAIN. I SHALL REFRAIN FROM RESPONDING TO SUCH NONSENSE. GET AWAY,GO ON....

as you are too foolish to read all posts, no doubt.....i have said above that I DELETED THAT ENTIRE POST DUE TO YOUR NON ANSWER, YOUR ABUSIVE REMARKS TO OTHERS AND YOUR PLAINLY FOOLISH,CHILDISH ATTITUDES. BYE.
