Completely agree.
And imo, Wandering Spirit is better than many Stones Albums.

Wandering Spirit is the way to go, then Primitive Cool is my second favorite (some bad production but good songs). Stay away of GITD! |

here's my low down:
WS - 9/10 - best Stones related album behind the "magic 4" IMHO
GITD - 7/10 songs - 4/10 production
PC - 5/10 songs (except LW) - 2/10 production
STB - 2/10 songs - 3/10 production

Wandering Spirit is absolutely fantastic...get it first and Goddess second,STB is below average at best and Primative cool sounds way to intertwined with the 80's to be any good (think Back To Zero) |

That video of Jagger/Bowie and the cover of STB are among the gayest moments ever. |

'She's the Boss' fits nicely next to my Weird Al collection. |

The 1980's was a dark time and Jagger wanted to fit in. So
the She's the Boss cover doesn't strike me as particularly bad, but the music is very bland. |

I like the back cover of that album, Wheel of Fortune is on the TV, and Micky is reaching over to change the channels, nice view of his cute, little butt! Maybe, they should have made that the front cover of the album!
P.S. I remember watching the "Dancing In The Streets" video with David Bowie, and thinking to myself, "Man, that Mick Jagger sure is hyper." I was not attracted to him then, since I was just a kid. |

WS, no doubt, best 90's Stones album, close to Keef 's one.
Goddess got great melodies, but the production sucks with too synthe sounds -those violins, gasp!!)...and yes, GITD got great harmonies, breaks and ideas, more than on ABB.
IMHO WS is Mick's masterpiece, with such a strong voice and loud guitars!! |

How come The Stones haven't played this song live yet?
I know is Jagger solo, but after all they cover other people's songs all the time.

the fact they still do covers with a catalog of more than 300 songs is still a mystery for me... |

i had the exact reaction to mick as a little kid watching the angie clip - must have been the don kirshner concert...
'man, that mick jagger is WEIRD...'
my childhood sensibilities were repulsed.
