The latest rumor regarding the upcoming Rolling Stones dates is that the band will play a free concert in Romania. According to Romania's nineoclock.ro, the Stones are planning a free show similar to their February 2006 gig in Rio de Janeiro, where the band played for over a million concert goers.

Although no dates have been confirmed, the unofficial fan website itsonlyrockandroll.org (iorr.org) has posted that the band is planning a summer swing through Europe beginning in June, hitting Spain, Belgium, Poland, Germany, France, the UK, Croatia, and Romania.

Last year a Stones representative said that European dates would be likely, so that the band could make up for the shows postponed due to Keith Richards' head injury last spring.

corgi37 Why play Romania at all? Especially a free show? I mean, what with all the werewolves and vampires, its a logistical nightmare.

Gazza nothin' to apologise for, mate. Just pointin' out there was more on it elsewhere and that theyre rehashing website rumours. No harm done and obviously some people may not have seen the story anyway
