Monkey Woman Today is maybe the anniversary of Charlie's first gig with the Stones, but maybe not...

From RS.com Archives 1/14/1963:
Charlie Watts's first gig with The Rolling Stones at the Flamingo Jazz Club, London.

And from Bill Wyman's Sticky Fingers Restaurant website:
www.stickyfingers.co.uk

"Today in history, 14/1/63
Flamingo Jazz Club, Soho, London. Mick, Keith, Brian, Bill, Charlie & Stu, played together for the very first time."

But according to RO's setlist page and Timeisonourside.com, Charlie first played with them onJanuary 17th, 1963 at London's Marquee International Jazz Club.

To tighten the plot, Nico Zentgraf's website list it on 12th January 1963!

Howard Carter, where are you????

I'd definitely put money on Bill Wyman being right. Man, that guy is a walking encyclopaedia.
