I can't believe those magic fingers have touched your shoulder! Long after you die and your body has rotted away in your coffin, that shoulder will remain as fresh and supple as the day you were born.

happy birthday mt -
sounds morbid but im afraid this man will have to DIE before he is recognized for what he contributed to rock and roll.
he was part of the greatest rock and roll band during thier greatest period. |

This statement comes across as incomprehensible from one of Dirty Work's greatest fans. Don't get me wrong - I consider Dirty Work as one of the Stones and one of rock's greatest albums - and Ronnie was the prime mover on this record.
I can't imagine the Stones without Ronnie...in fact there would be no Stones today if not for that magical time of the year, in 1975 when history was made and the Stones as we know now really came to life - the circle was complete and the pieces finally came together...

The circle was a urine stain.....things have never been the same without MT..you want to credit Ronnie with some nice playing 75-78, I'll give you that. But Taylor simply was the greatest guitar player in the greatest band, in their most productive years......................... |

'a circle of stain...'
lol.
ronnie was great for some girls - perfect for that era's image....
but can you imagine what mt could have done on waiting on a friend etc...
actually, there is a legend that mt played a beautiful solo on the song - but it was edited out for tattoo.....
does anybody know if this is true.
i have a boot with an early version of friend with a sweet jagger falsetto - but mt is not on it so...
anybody know about this?
