That probably explains it, then. When it came out, I was 11 years old and hated all my friends.
LOL!
I was only five when it came out. Never heard the song until about 10 years later. I remeber as a young teenager using all the money I had in my pocket to buy "Undercover", a trend that never seemed to stop.

Dobie, right?
Dobie and the Stones versions were great.

LOL...That album tends to bring back really good memories for me. I was 18, it was summertime, and life was good... life was very good.

If You Can't Rock me has to be in the top 5 Stones opening songs

Some good songs but always thought the album was over produced taking the raw sound of say Sticky Fingers out of the mix...a tad slick and less nasty sound than I prefer

an interesting point given that IORR was the Glimmer Twins / Mick & Keith's production debut

This is one of my top 10 Stones albums. I could never understand how so many Stones fans could just dismiss it out of hand. How can ya go wrong with a tracklist like this?
If You Can't Rock Me
Ain't Too Proud To Beg
It's Only Rock'n Roll
Till The Next Goodbye
Time Waits For No One
Luxury
Dance Little Sister
If You Really Want To Be My Friend
Short And Curlies
Fingerprint File

my top 5 stones´s album, anothers are: (exile on, sticky fingers, let it bleed, get yer yaya´s out and IORR)!
o like so much from:
If You Can't Rock Me,Ain't Too Proud To Beg,It's Only Rock'n Roll,Luxury, Dance Little Sister(most underrated stones music), Short And Curlies
weel, we have the slow tracks who are deep! and a funk(?) on FF
i just don´t like from IORR:
- under volume recorded (to remember old times, mick?)
- they let "living in a harder(heart)love" out! one of the bests outtkes from stones musics
- MT don´t toured with them in 1975!

Bitch
On New Years Eve I saw The Mike Hunt Band (RS tribute band w/ female MICK & Keef) in NYC. They do RS albums in their entirety, and in order, so that night it was IORR. It was a great start into 08, the album rocks live, and Short & Curlies became a loud drunken sing-along, it was so fvckin funny! GTRM you would love this band!
