Don't feel bad. At least the Bucs got beat. They did not give the game away with poor special teams play, bad passes. Then take the game back, and give it away again with a fucking 3rd down quarerback draw. I was a the bar and told everybody that they were going to run that play. They did, then I puked.

sirmoonie Garcia played terrible. Mexicans are better suited for spazz games like baseball.

Chuck Noll never recovered. His staff's ability to master the draft as they did in the previous years was never the same. Although they did draft one more hall of famer. Louis Lipps was another good pick. IMO this was the last blow to the end of the Steelers' golden era.

Yes he could. But the odds are really remote. Not good betting odds at all. Only a fool would would bet money on anything else but the Brady-Moss juggernaut. But that's what Vegas is built on....PT Barnum's suckers.

I'll go Packers too. They used to be a great rival, but I never hating them. I hate Philly!! I think we will have better rivals in the South than the Black & Blue. Atl and TB seem to have a good one going. Don't really follow the AFC that closely.

Agreed moonie. That 3 and 6 call was as bad as it gets.

Nellcote Bye week is over, team is rested, ready to go.
We've started to prepare for the tournament.
We have tough competition in the Jaguars.
They are coached well, are very good in all three phases
of the game.
They are big up front, have enjoyed a good year.
We need to bring out A game to the table, or, we'll be watching the rest of the tournament on Sunday.
Last I checked, there are no trophies handed out for going 16-0.

gimmekeef Well good luck Nelly..take out those louts the Jags...lotta trash talk for a team thats won zip...ever

Anyway...I shall no longer watch the inevitable rest of season but these are musts for teh Steelers in 2008:

*Re-up Ben now
*Fire Unspecial teams coach and Arians as O co-ord
*Let Faneca/Foote/Haggans/Townsend/Carter/Starks/Wilson/Rossum go for cap space
*Switch from 3-4 to cover 2..One Super Bowl in 16 yrs with 3-4 isnt working and by years end teh good teams pick it up
*Sign best free agent center (Mahan backup or wins guard spot)
*Draft best OLine LT available and move Marvel back to right side
*Draft a true powerback early
*Get some safety help for Polamalu and someone on D with Porter like fire..too soft this year on the whole

Cause next year we dont get a powder puff schedule that made Steelers look better than they were....

Why dont they just blindfold Blank..spin him around in the tool aisle at Home D and first guy he grabs is the new coach?..Carroll is an okay college guy when hes got a ton of healthy talent...but he was mediocre at best in pros
