exile I was just reading this article about a company planning to release a DVD on the stones has been stopped by ABKCO Music and Records

"The Rolling Stones: Just For The Record This is a DVD Box set, 5 disc - 5 hours 40 years of history of the band. Each disc is one hour, sixties, seventies, eighties, nineties, two thousands. The story is told by the band members, family, friends, fellow musicians, biographers: Interviews, rare footages and recordings and a lot more."

That sounds like a fantastic DVD set anyone know if this is going to be released or has been stopped from release or is just a nasty rumor ? Any information on it at all?

elmolewis69 I bought already 6 months ago on Amazon and ita was supposed to be out in October. Then they said it will be postponed to March 2003.
Still waiting.

doo doo doo Dude I heard it wasn't going to contain any '60 stuff (thanks to ABCKO not licensing it). They were going to release it anyway with just stuff from the 70's, 80's and 90's but know ABKCO is holding up that release with litigation claiming that it is deceiving the buyer who expects to see and hear stuff from the '60's.

If this is true, Alan Klein simply proves once again what a total fucking prick he is.
