Topic: A rare John Lennon and Mick Jagger track Return to archive
01-15-03 11:49 AM
CS "a rare John Lennon and Mick Jagger track" is being auctioned at the Spring Rock Legends auction in London.

What's the track? "Too Many Cooks" and "Bring It On Home To Me" were recorded by both but the first is by Willie Dixon and the other by Sam Cooke.

Just wondering.

Tom I've heard Too Many Cooks but not Bring It On Home To Me, is it available on a bootleg or on-line?

Nellcote Cause Too Many Cooks, goin spoil the Stew...

Good outtake from early 70's, I'm certain someone has the complete goods on it here. Rousing r & b track to have in any Stones collection. But buy at auction? I just entered it in Winmx search, came up with 3 downloadable cuts...
I guess this auction item is probably some golden source...

VoodooChileInWOnderl I wonder too about that track. I don't think is Too Many Cooks or Bring It On Home To Me, must be another.

BTW, I have never heard "Bring It On Home To Me"... anybody? Please send me the MP3 to share with all.
