I like 'Rain Fall Down'. i hope I see it tonight. I hope they play it at the Super Bowl. 'fer chrissakes they got to play ONE new song at least or the "nostalgia" stamp will be official!

If they play a new song, it should be "Back of My Hand" or "Rough Justice" or "Oh No, Not You Again." There is NO justification for RFD. If they play it, it will destroy them. The Stones will become the all-time biggest joke in the history of rock. The Stones public image is already one of old geezers, they CANNOT afford to humiliate themselves in front of MILLIONS and MILLIONS of people.

For this show, they need to drop the backup musicians to the bare essentials (Daryl, Chuck [like it or not] and Bobby) and stick to warhorses (I'd love Midnight Rambler, but it ain't gonna happen). Rocking, smoking versions of JJF, SMU, Satisfaction, HTW or Brown Sugar will be fine. RFD does not fit into the equation.

I'd like to think that even the Stones aren't that far out of the loop that they would even consider playing SOL. There's no way they can possibly think ANYONE that watches the Super Bowl would want to hear a song like SOL, that's strictly for the soap opera crowd. Of course, no one that watches the Super Bowl wants to hear a song like RFD either; here's hoping wisdom will prevail.
