i NEED HELP..i GOT MY 18TH TICKETS through a broker...however, I just negotiated w/ a private seller 2 for the 16th...problem is I need to send him cash, and i want some one to inspect tickets before he is paid....i am leaving for N.Y. wedesday, and time is of the essence..Thus, I would need to send you the $ overnight and either have you fed-ex me the tickets monday or pick them up Thursday.....I will make it worth you while for the help..any better ideas? |

You could call Ticketmaster if you have his name and address. They shouldn't, but they'll tell you if they sold him tickets, and what seats they sold him. If they don't, maybe you can conference in ticketmaster with him on the line.
I did this once for some tickets i bought off of ebay.
He could still copy or counterfeit them, but at least you'd know he had good tickets in the first place, which is half the battle. You'll also feel better knowing you have a real address that TM used. If he screws you, at least you'll have a lot of info to track him down. The fact that you're a lawyer will probably further deter him.
If he bought them at the box office, which is unlikely, you're screwed.
Even if he bought them through the fan club, ticketmaster will have a record of the purchase.
