better voice? Chris.
Not knocking Mick. Jagger is one of my all-time favorite voices. Because I loved it when he used to sing soulful and cocky. You know before he started over annunciating every sylable.
these days? I prefer Chris Robinson's soulful southern howl. Thankyou.
better performer? Jagger is, was and always will be the King.
and Watts still is the best drummer ever.
but guitars? Not even close.
Crowes sound like Richards/Taylor '73 times 10!!!
sadly, Jagger's the most able and talented guitarist in the Stones now.

at the drop of midnight, the band brought out all their crew plus their wives, children and parents onstage for a bow. Goldie and Kurt, being Chris's in-laws came out and waved.
thankfully none of them sang back up.
Stones might let the likes of Whoopi Goldberg sing back up vocals during their show, but the Crowes would never put up with that.
I wouldnt trade the Stones for any band. I definately wouldnt trade their songs for anything. But sometimes I wish I they had the Crowes attitude, devotion and aproach to music.
