CM look here's the deal. In the last presidential election inside Venuzuela less than 25% of registered voters were counted. He won by over 70% of the vote! Shocker! This can all be looked up and verified should you choose to do that. This guy has gone on record saying that he would love to see the USA destroyed. This can also be backed up. He has stated his goal of arms deals with Iran,Cuba, and China. What part of this has anything to do with liberal vs conservative?!?

He is a dictator plain and simple! I will not coddle him. Or pretend that he means well. He does not mean my family,my nation,or my way of life well. Quite to the contrary.

Now please tell me why this thug gets a pass from you? Is it simply because he hates Bush? He firmly believes in the redistribution of wealth as does any socialist. He has done just that at the point of many guns. Yet you still defend him? I guess I'm just not enlightened enough to appreciate his good qualities. Perhaps that's because once I hear some madman declare his desire to see my country eliminated from the map I tend to stop listening.

Where oh where did I back Chavez?

I made comments about the criminal "conservatives" and their ilk.

That must be the real reason for your responding to my posts.

jb I don't like Bush either, but Belafonte is a ass....and Chavez, well, read for yourself his hateful comments. You can be against the war, and not call Bush the "worlds biggest terrorist"...that's upsurd and makes him (Belafonte) and his many good causes look greatly diminished.........WE dems are troo fcuking stupid.....the republicans are eating this up....no coverage for Delay's shameful resignation, but tons of coverage on Belafontes comments.....wake up dems...the country is more modrate than it was in the 90's......you need moderate dems to take back power(i,e. compassionate conservative bullshit got Bush elected.....learn how to play the game)....

CM I mean no disrespect, and your opinion of conservatives/Republicans is just that. Your opinion. Mine is exactly the same as far as liberal Democrats are concerned. I was mearly pointing out that slamming Bush is fine, but you went on to say that the majority of Hugo Chavez's countrymen dually elected him so they must like him. Well that is patently false. He was elected I'll give you that, but it was far from a true honest election.

Hey,Saddam regularly recieved 90% plus of the vote in Iraq, and that was equally rigged.

I won't get into an argument over liberals vs conservatives because it is obvious that it will get heated, and I'm in no mood for that. However,I will get my back up about Chavez everytime. The guy is dangerous as hell, and I would hate to be his neighbor. As his neighbors continually say.

Jumping Jack Pat Robertson vs. Harry Belafonte, who would win in a fight to the death? What a great PPV. What an even better halftime show. Bring it on. Maybe they kill each other. The Romans had it right, LOL!!!

If it sells, Chavez and Saddam can have a go next. Perhaps young Jake can promote these? Imagine the high tech website, fancy t-shirt and program offers, and VIP packages this could lead to. The possibilities are limitless!!! You gotta love capitalism.
