LadyJane This Thread MUST prevail!!!!!!!!

Right now I'm drinking water as I swallow Advil. I stay up too late when the Stones have a show....or could it be the three large tumblers of Skyy and Cranberry Juice that have caused this lil headache.

C'mon people.....keep this thread alive!!!!!!

It is our duty!!!!!!!!!

Zack For my birthday a while back the wife gave me a martini shaker with a bunch of coasters with recipes. Among them was the Cosmopolitan, which anyone who's seen Sex in the City knows is often derided as chick fuel.

Well, I'm here to tell you that two parts lemon vodka, one part triple sec, a squeezed lime, and a dash of cranberry straight up makes a serious cocktail. Start off with two of those babys, and its all a blur past the second bottle of wine.

They've become a ritual at my house, in extra large martini glasses with a twist of lime (for aesthetics only; its pointless once you've already squeezed an entire lime in the mix).

Voodoo Scrounge There is a drink here in the uk called sourz. It comes in different flavours and it is sour vodka shots.
The company just came up with the idea of something called a sourz tower. You fill it with ice, juice and about 20 shots of sourz. One of these and the game is over.

That lemon vodka is really good, at least the Kettle One stuff

No real man would be caught drinking a Cosmo as it is the official drink of "Sluts in the City"

Could wine coolers be any more yummy?!

Voodoo Scrounge I dont find drinking as exciting as i used to. I was having a beer whilst watching the footie last night and i wasnt enjoying it. So I switched to coke. Theres no point drinking for drinkings sake is there now?

Does not compute

You drink because something happened

Or you drink to make something happen

Win/win situation

I once made the mistake of saying that myself. Since I am at least in theory male I suffered no little amount of abuse for that remark.

try this instead
2 oz. Cuervo tradicional
1 oz. Cointreau
juice of 1 lime
strain over ice

serve in wide rimmed glass coated with sea salt

RubyKel I'm new here...as of today...but I'll help keep this thread alive.

I'm still nursing a hnagover from Friday night....3 pints of our local brewhouse beer called the "Crippla"...and yes it is.

And a hangover from Sunday night....way too many margaritas...made with Herradura Reposado.

Need to recover soon....going to Maui next week and I need to be able to drink those Mai Tai's.

T&A Tried out a new recipe the other night:

Bourbon Stone Sour - Stone being the operative word.

Not bad - lemon juice, orange juice, sugar water, Jack Daniels - in a highball glass with cubes.
