glencar Mr. Roboto by Styx. A dumb concept flooded with horrible & atrocious singing. Plus it turns out the Japanese ended up not taking over the world.

We have a word for ppl like you in Dutch: cultuurbarbaar .
Dark Side is brilliant imo.

Anyway, I would go for 'Drowning in Favorite Lists' by 'Online Communities'.

Absurd, preposterous, foolish, silly - all synonym's for "ridiculous".

Hardly.

Dark Side is considered by many fans, writers, music critics and musicians to be one of, if not the greatest album of all time. Of course, that is open for debate. However, that doesn't remotely consider it to be "ridiculous", imo.

Ask yourself this, do you even think you've heard "the most ridiculous album of all time"? I highly doubt it. Think about all the albums ever recorded. I'll bet you haven't even listened to 1% of them.

Ten Thousand Motels They're Coming To Take Me Away
by Napoleon The 14th

Remember when you ran away
And I got on my knees and begged you
Not to leave because I'd go berserk?

WELL,

You left me anyhow and
Then the days got worse and worse
And now you see I've gone completely
out of my mind,

AND

[chorus 1]
They're coming to take me away,
Haha, they're coming to take me away,
Ho ho, hee hee, ha ha,
To the funny farm
Where Life is Beautiful all the time
And I'll be happy to see
Those Nice Young Men
In their Clean White Coats
And they're coming to take me AWAY,
HA HAAAAA

You thought it was a joke,
and so you LAUGHED, YOU LAUGHED
When I had said that losing you
Would make me flip my lid,

RIGHT?

You know you laughed.
I HEARD you laugh, you laughed
You laughed and laughed
And then you left,
But now you know I'm Utterly Mad

AND

[chorus 2]
They're coming to take me away,
Haha, they're coming to take me away,
Ho ho, hee hee, ha ha,
To the Happy Home with Trees and Flowers
And Chirping Birds and basket weavers
Who sit and smile and
Twiddle their thumbs and toes
And they're coming to Take me Away,
HAHAAAAAAAAA

I cooked your food,
I cleaned your house,
And this is how you pay me back
For all my kind unselfish loving deeds

HUH?

Well, you just wait,
They'll find you yet,
And when they do, they'll put you in
the ASPCA, you mangy MUTT,

Sir Stonesalot If you people want to hear ridiculous, latch on to any of the Big Itch compilations.

Astounding retardedness all gathered onto nice slabs o' wax for your listening edification. So far into absurdity that you may not be able to claw your way back out to normalcy.

January 5th, 2005 08:12 PM
glencar There was a 3 sister act from New England called The Shirts or something like that & they've often been cited as one of the worst acts ever.
January 5th, 2005 08:17 PM
Sir Stonesalot The Shaggs...and though they were very bad, they did not even come close to "Oooo Oooo" by Joe E Ross...as heard on Big Itch Vol. 2
