Jaxx my thoughtful sister mailed me a copy of "Old Gods Almost Dead--The 40 Year Odyssey of the Rolling Stones" by Stephen Davis.

anybody know anything about this tome? is it authorized? the pics included are GREAT!!

Gazza Havent read it myself,although Ive heard its an interesting read even if the author's factual accuracy isn't that good - which would maybe make you question how accurate some of the stories are...the title & reviews of it doesnt exactly suggest that its an affectionate book! LOL

Not sure if its available over here yet....have to check it out!

Cardinal Ximinez I'm about 3/4s of the way thru it....LAME! Nothing new, just rehashed gossip from other books. Overblown bombastic writing style, riddled with misinformation. I wouldn't pay more than $5.00 for it. And that's only for the pics of Marianne & Anita. Man, those are some smokin' hot pics!

On June 16, 2001 the hit counter of the WET page was inserted here, it had 174,489 hits. Now the hit counter is for both the page and the board.
The hit counter of the ITW board had 1,127,645 hits when it was closed and the Coolboard didn't have hit counter but was on line only two months and a half.
