ROCKS OFF - The Rolling Stones Message Board

Dirty Work

Thanks to you.
I'm hardly ever blue.
Upon the morning dew.
I caress your hard rockin' stew.
It always feels new.
You make me purr and koo.
And if you all had a clue.
Tonight, you'd play Had It With You.

VoodooChileInWOnderl He jammed previously with Mick Taylor and they are good friends, in fact Mick told me he liked a lot that photo we have with Bruce and him.

Now

Bruce Willis makes music
Own label will champion the underdog
Bruce Willis has stepped further into the music world by setting up his own record label. The Die Hard slaphead is the lead singer in his own band (who recently changed their name to Bruce Willis and the Accelerators) and says he wants to help other struggling, unsigned musicians who are ignored by the big radio stations. 'Artists who aren't the hot thing have a difficult time,' Wills says. 'A lot of really great music falls through the cracks.' Bruce Willis and the Accelerators plan to release an album, featuring Keith Richards, Mick Jagger and Bobby Womack, in the new year.

Since the early '80s, actor Bruce Willis has been performing his own version of blue-eyed soul, akin to John Belushi and Dan Aykroyd's Blues Brothers. In January, he will be taking his band the Accelerators on the road for a series of club dates.

Artist information:
Bruce Willis

The tour kicks off in Atlanta on Jan. 11 and winds up three weeks later with a two-night stint in New York.

On at least four of the dates, Willis will be accompanied by Ivan Neville, the son of Aaron Neville. Neville accompanied Keith Richards on his first solo tour, and has played in Bonnie Raitt's band.

Willis released two solo albums on Motown--"Return of Bruno" (1987), which included the Top-10 cover of "Respect Yourself," and "If It Don't Kill You, It Just Makes You Stronger" (1989).

[Note: The following tour itinerary has been provided by artist and/or tour sources, who verify its accuracy as of 14-Dec-2001. Changes may occur before tickets go on sale. Check with official artist web sites, ticketing sources and venues for late updates.]

CS Keith will be also in the next Ivan's Neville album according to this article

Willis in a Spin

Bruce Willis
Bruce Willis is such a big fan of one young artist, he started a record label for him and others like him. Ivan Neville will release a CD on Willis' Uptop Music next month.

You'd think it would be easy for Neville to score a contract: His dad, Aaron, is the sublime singer who fronts the Neville Brothers. But Willis says, "Good writers, good musicians who aren't the hot new thing have a difficult time. A lot of really great music falls through the cracks."

Dad will perform on Ivan's album, along with Keith Richards and Bonnie Raitt. And Willis' band, the Accelerators, will tour with him.

VoodooChileInWOnderl Hey! According to Mick Bruce has a great sense for Blues and is a cool guy, Hi sings and plays the harmonica.

I do think the same, when they jammed together it was a great gig back in 1996, they played at the Forum Club in London and later at the Astoria Theatre in London, the setlist was great both nights, including You gotta move and many others
