There is no friggin need to enlist my Lil' Long Island Railroad Traveling pal . The ' surge ' in Iraq is working .... not ' APPEARS ' to be working but is actually WORKING !!!!!! We need at LEAST Two hundred Thousand Troops over there year after year after decade after friggin DECADE to keep the peace .......
Most of those soldiers ( heroes ) are on their ' tenth ' tour of duty in Iraq .
I wonder where our nation will get all of that manpower to re-supply the troop levels ?! ..... I wonder .... ?!

Oh but you said the surge would just lead to more violence and death and would achieve nothing. Do you get tired of being wrong? Now you carp about what it will take to keep the peace. You are a goal post mover my little Steely Dan spinnin' pal. Yeah were still in Korea too. Your point? Oh and those mulitple tours? The soliders keep reenlisting in huge numbers because they love and believe in what they are doing. It means something to them. God bless them. Just keep sitting there telling them their mission is failed or hopeless. That must make them feel good, if they were to read it.
PS. The military is vastly against the draft. They get the best and brightest of our country currently. They want to keep it that way. So that'll be just another of your wrong predictions.
