Seems he had precious little of "happy" in his life...

...maybe playing his music was the biggest happiness in his life???

...when he closed his eyes, his mind was set free only for his music...and the depths of his soul are to this day stayed for us all to hear...THANK YOU, BRIAN!!!!!

Oh yes, I agree! I think Brian was happiest when he was playing his music. I'm glad for all those happy times for him.

I think I have quite a few of those Chris Walters photos. They were taken in 1968 at some party in December I think. Let me see if I can find any more.
In the meantime if anyone has anymore please share. I have a lot in my room of those pictures.

...that would be great, dear Linda!!
And, sure, I´ll look what I find as well...

oh, and, yes they were taken in December 1968
Love and hugs, Alex

I uploaded this video on Youtube from this old VHS tape I had on the Death of Brian, from Inside Edition T.V. show, but there's no image yet, (it takes up to 6 hours) it's similiar to Entertainment Tonight program on this, for all Brian fans.

Thanks so much for sharing this, GM53!

Lol Lisa, I don't think there is any such thing as a "plain" picture of Brian...lol They are all superb!
Thanks again, and have a wonderful trip back to Chicago "my kind of town, Chicago is, my kind of town"...

Thanks, Sioux! I don't have my full BJ picture collection with me, but some traveled with me...

I really won't have a chance to post again until after Christmas -- have a great holiday with your family [and your daughter's "Brian To Be" whom you can always call Brian when your daughter isn't in the room!]

GhostofBrianJones Those pictures are fantastic!

I have the one where he is leaning back in the chair against
the chest of drawers only mine is in color and it is on
my board. Do you have that particular picture you posted on
here only in color? I mean that entire picture in color
by any chance? If you or someone has that in color it is
larger than my color one and I can use that one instead.

Another subject, the picture where BJ is up at the microphone
does he have his harmonica in his hands or what is that
in HIS right hand? He has his eyes closed (very dreamy and
gorgeous) and I was just wondering what the object he had
in HIS right hand. Maybe I can't see anymore?!
21st December 2007 09:30 PM
BriansBabe Sorry Linda, I haven´t it in color ... but maybe someone else have????

I´ve only this little one:

lol

...and a few (also little) more from the same shot

...if someone have those pic´s in bigger or in color,
or in both , please postin´ here???? That would be very
kindly!!!

...I think it could be a second harp that he is holding in his right hand while playing the other, you know?
In Videos you can mostly not figure out were to the heck that harp is, because it looks like our Brian eaten the microphone up or kiss it ...but once I saw clearly that he used 2 different harps and interchange them...that´s interesting, no?

To me Brian was the best harmonica player the world has ever heared and will hear...no one can do it, only Brian!!!
His harp playing sounds completly different compared to others - it was UNIQUE and remains UNFORGOTTEN!!!
WELL DONE, BRIAN!!!!

Much love, Alex
21st December 2007 11:36 PM
Sioux Yes, harmonicas come in "keys/notes". Like one will be an E harp and one a B flat....things like that. And he would
change the harp when the key of the song changed. I remember reading that harp was Brian's favorite instrument
as he felt that it best conveyed what he felt in his soul--it was like his musical soul coming forth in the song. He
was brilliant.
22nd December 2007 03:26 AM
GhostofBrianJones Lord help us if there was beer, wine or some other booze
coming out of that microphone which would explain why he
had "eaten it"!! Hee Hee!! That's funny about him eaten them
mic or kissing it!! I liked that one. I would totally freak
out if he was Kissing it! YIKES!! That's funny.

Thanks very much for the explaining about the harmonica
Keys and etc. I never knew that. I think I will just stick
with the Triangle and the Tambourine.

He is obviously in obvilion with his harmonica playing
keeping his wonderful eyes shut to concentrate so he can
do his brilliant best.

Thanks for the info Sioux, I never saw someone else playing with two harps, only Brian...but maybe the reason for that could be, that I watch no one else, lol
