December 25, 2006

IRVING, TX -- In 60 minutes of sheer brilliance, the Eagles showed on Monday night, on Christmas night, that they are for real.

They are smoking. They are as good as anyone out there.

Philadelphia went into Texas Stadium and dominated the Dallas Cowboys from start to finish, controlling the line of scrimmage, shutting down the running game and blasting the vaunted Cowboys defense five yards back in a physically-imposing 23-7 victory.

The Eagles now sit in first place in the NFC East, and are one win away from capturing the division crown after a one-year hiatus. Oh, oh, oh, how sweet. Merry Christmas, Eagles fans...

...Thanks, Dave. Merry Christmas to you and yours!

GotToRollMe Alright, Ju! If yer gonna be around the NY area when you visit, gimme a buzz, I'd love to meet ya (I'll have the pipe all ready for ya)!

Okay, lemme see, this was my haul this year:

A bunch of books (including 3 Stones books).
$100 Amazon gift card (which I've already used).
$50 Visa gift card.
$120 cash.
A black leather belt.
Slippers, t-shirts, and socks (thanks, mom, I'd be lost without ya).
Scented candles.
A black scarf.
A black leather wallet.
White cotton hankies.
A desk calendar.
An umbrella (which I'll lose eventually, just like the one I got last year).
Sexy lingerie from London (don't ask).
Various cat toys for the little beasties.
And the good fortune to have a loving family, great old friends, and some great new friends like you guys.

Now if only Keith would show up under my tree, my holiday would be complete.

Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, Happy Hannukah, and Happy Boxing Day to our British friends!

EDIT: Got the Rolling Stones 2007 Calendar and the Tom Waits "Orphans" set! Santa has been very, very good to me this year!

Trey Krimsin Let's see.....

Gift cards from Circuit City, Electronics Boutique, and the Wake Forest Deacon shop
A few clothing items recognizing Wake Forest's ACC Football Championship
Other articles of clothing (no fucking socks!)
A few DVD's, video games, and books
20 CD's featuring Billboard's Year End Top 100 charts from 1980 to 1999

Best of all, I got to see members of my family I don't see very often. Not everyone could make it, but a good portion of the family did. So, all in all, it was a good Christmas.

Nellcote Just bring Countess Dracula, Nancy Pelosi with you, Joey.
Oh, and pickup Slick Willie Clinton, he knows all about impeachment, for the ride. He was getting head while servicemen were killed in Somalia, Bosnia, so, if he skates, Bush skates...
Or better yet, have Ted "Chivas" Kennedy, date killer, drive.
Nancy's family is assured not to get any life insurance settlement has Teddy has "priors"....
Did the illness of the Sen. from South Dakota shift the balance of power?
Happy Freaking New Year...
