gimmekeef Two questions .....First when the great Monitor Mix set was uploaded there were thoughts that other recordings from this "roadie" source might be available?...Any news on that?....Second can someone help with a link to the Tokyo show 2006 March that was the true stereo soundboard not ALD?..Somehow i've lost it and gave my only cdr copy away?....Thanks

I'm posting the same comment as on Dime:

There were no rehearsals at the Foxboro.
99.9% this one is from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, John F. Kennedy Stadium, 28th or 29th August. Soundboard recording were made those days.
http://www.nzentgraf.de/books/tcw/1989.htm

DEAD MAN CUMMING - 5CD Limited Edition Boxset (Eternal Records (RSCDX 509/624 051-2) contains de complete Rehearsals from August 28 & 29, 1989 in Excellent soundboard quality.

Take care,
Gonzalo

Very nice quality document of what the Stones infamous SNL appearance promoting Some Girls might have been. The band sounds good and Mick's voice is not ravaged from partying, as was the case in the live broadcast.

I created fades where there were none on the VHS tape, as the transitions were pretty rough, for the most part. The screen goes blue for a second or two once or twice during this 40 minute long DVD, but that is the extent of the imperfections.

Thanks as always to Chris, for being a great partner in getting so many cool performances out to all of you in DIME-land!
