pehdefigo Hello people !!

Well, i think you're talking about me, so i need to say about brazilian DSL, here whe have a big range of download speed, from 128 kbps (12 k/s) to 8 mbps (960 k/s), i have an 1 mbps DSL, i can download up to 120 k/s but all of connections have only 128 kbps for upload, we have a community of users for make a "pression" to force our isp to increase our upload speed...

I'm infinity sorry for my very low ratio, but i'm a Dime's member also and need preserve my ratio there too.

If you want to implement the ratio filter here, i agree, i don't want to be a parasit...

I'm only a Stones stuff collector, if i can't get anything here in this tracker i'll try to find it by another way...

For who want to verify the information about my isp just visit: http://www1.speedy.com.br/interna.asp?pag=frameset_produtos.asp?int=speedy450_caract.asp

silkcut1978 iPod - Video !

Nearly a year ago I bought myself a Video-iPod and since that time I've been looking for Stones-clips and movies to download from the net - all in all without success. Most of the time the quality was sh*t and sometimes the mpegs couldn't even be uploaded on the iPod (happened to me with U2 and Pink Floyd from Live8) because of a wrong conversion.

So I started to look for software to convert vob/avi/mpegs to the iPod mp4/m4v-format on my own and I think I downloaded about 2 dozen of programs which were all faulty in one way or the other (bad sound or bad picture - sometimes even both).

3 days ago I learned that DVDFab is an excellent tool to convert stuff directly from DVD to iPod and even PSP in only one step.

The final result is stunning - yesterday I watched Saitama in office, today the collection below which I'll upload in a minute. I still can't believe how good it is and for the first time I'm able watch my movies where ever I am.

As it is a time-consuming thing and my CPU runs hot for about 6 hours to convert a 2hour DVD and last but not least not everybody is firm on his/her PC I thought about sharing.

Yesterday I asked Gazza and today Charlotte about the idea to upload this stuff here and as Charlotte pointed out "It's the only way you will be able to go mobile with stones video concerts". Thanks for the encouragement Charlotte - so here's my first try - I'm curious if there are others who'll dig this kind of stuff but who knows - maybe I'm the only one with an iPod AND spare-time in office;-)

One last thing: feel free to ask for an upload of the original DL-DVD in case you don't have it. This uploads aren't meant to replace the "real thing"!

Charles,

If you have 1Mb/128kbps connection, why don't you limit your download speed in your bt client (uTorrent) ? Why do you want to download at 128 kB/s and upload at only 16 kB/s ? Limit your download, that's all you have to do... and stay connected until you get 1:1 ratio, that's all.

You can also limit your download speed on each torrent you're downloading.

"I'm infinity sorry for my very low ratio, but i'm a Dime's member also and need preserve my ratio there too."

Yep, that's what I was talking about. Because Dime has a ratio system, people need to preserve their ratio there, but how about preserving the ratio also here ? Because there's not ratio? No no, the ratio is shown in your bt client in every torrent you're downloading.

Unfortunately I'm not at home right now, and here I have a 512/128 kbps connection, my ratio on Philadelphia Special is 1.4 so far because I'm still seeding it. I did not disappear like you did.

Gonzalo

Here's a handy little application that lets you save videos from YouTube to your computer:

http://www.benjaminstrahs.com/itube.php

Unfortunately it's windows only.

Here's a tip: It names everything that it downloads the same so be sure to rename the file before you download the next.

If you want to put it on a video iPod here's another little app that works great.

http://www.nurs.or.jp/%7Ecalcium/3gpp/3GP_Converter034.zip

It think this will also convert to other formats too.
